Welcome to North Internal Medicine, we are an innovative family practice located in Bartlett, TN. At North Internal Medicine we strive to offer our patients convenient, high-quality care. One of the ways we do this is by offering our patients online health services through our website.

Mission

North Internal Medicine is committed to providing patients with convenient access to high-quality care. We believe that providing high-quality care is not only about the medical advice that we dispense, but more importantly about the relationships we have with our patients. We continue to strive to be a leader in innovative medical practices and are one of the first clinics in the area to offer online health services to our patients.

History

North Internal Medicine was started in 1989 to provide care for the residents of the  Memphis area. Thanks to our supportive patients, we have been able to grow our practice to 3 providers who serve over 10,000 patients.

Staff

Douglas L. O'Dea, MD

Dr. O'Dea graduated Magna Cum Laude from Memphis State University with a B.A. in science, and earned his medical degree in 1985 from the University of Tennessee, where he completed his residency. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine. He is the founder and senior Physician of North Internal Medicine. He has served on the board of speakers for various pharmaceutical companies and participated in multiple phase III and phase IV medical drug research studies. Dr. O'dea is committed to continuing education and research.  

Debora Dowda, APRN,BC 

Debora joined the clinic in 2005. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1996 with a Master of Science in Nursing. Debora has obtained certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She loves the outdoors and enjoys kayaking in her free time. Debora has four children and 2 grandchildren.




                                                                

 

Myles Benjamin, RN, MSN FNP-C    

Myles joined the clinic in May, 2015. He graduated from The University of Memphis, Loewenburg School of Nursing with Master of Science in Nursing. He holds a certification as a Family Nurse Practioner, and is Board-Certified. Myles is married, and has two children. He enjoys the outdoors, especially fishing and camping.
